Biographical/Historical:     From the 1880s until the early twentieth century, major railway and steamboat companies produced souvenir booklets as memorabilia and advertising.

Summary:     This collection contains four souvenir books and one pamphlet with illustrations and photographs from around the state of Florida. One book shows 101 photographs of the 1926 south Florida hurricane, and covers Fort Lauderdale, Miami Beach, Miami, Coral Gables, and Hialeah. The second souvenir book contains a series of sketches of major hotels in St. Augustine, primarily the Ponce de Leon and Casa Monica hotels. The third souvenir book, published by the Daily News of Palm Beach, provides photographs and a brief history of the Palm Beach area up to 1936. The fourth souvenir book is undated and shows Marianna's history with photographs.

    The pamphlet is an advertisement for the golf course at the Hotel Ormond at Ormond Beach. It has a few photographs of Ormond Beach and lists the opening and closing dates of all the major hotels on the Florida East Coast Railway for the 1925 and 1926 tourist season.
