The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This series contains the records of the Secretary of State that are associated with that officer's function as custodian of the Great Seal of the State of Florida (Ch. 65-209, Laws).  It is only with the Secretary's permission that "... any facsimile, copy, likeness, imitation, or other resemblance thereto..." may be used. These records consist of correspondence requesting use of the seal, and the Secretary's response of either approval or denial.
