Biographical/Historical:     The Royal Palm Hotel of Miami, Florida, was one of the largest tourist attractions along Flagler's East Coast Railway in the late 1890, and one of the first hotels in the Miami area. The hotel opened in 1897 as a shining example of the lavish opulence that Henry Flagler's hotels offered. However, the 1926 hurricane severely damaged the Royal Palm, and it was eventually condemned and torn down in 1930.

Summary:     The collection consists of the single-volume discharge voucher register of the Royal Palm Hotel in Miami, Florida, for the season 1925-1926. The ledger contains names of employees, their occupations, rates of pay, and amounts paid.
