Summary: ****DEACCESSIONED****The collection is comprised of the travel journal kept by Bessie Whitaker during her "grand tour" of Europe in the 1860s.  Entries describe in detail site-seeing activities, social occasions, and actual travel between visits.  A number of drawings are found at the end of the diary.  The volume is approximately 130 pages long.
