The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     Ray C. Osborne was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on September 7, 1933.  After finishing his education, he served in the U.S. Army.  In 1964, Osborne was elected to the Florida House of Representatives.  Osborne resigned his House seat in 1968, to run for a post on the Public Service Commission.  Governor Claude Kirk appointed Osborne to the recreated post of Lieutenant Governor on January 7, 1969.
Summary:     The series contains the subject files of Lt. Governor Osborne from 1969 to 1970.  The series contains correspondence, activity files, speeches, photographs, memorandum, and some personal files.
