Summary:     This series contains the publicity records of the Florida Construction Program relating to the publication of a special section about the program in state newspapers.  There are solicitation letters for advertisements and responses by contractors, financial ledgers, and lists of building contractors and sub-contractors.
    There is also a copy of the Tampa Sunday Tribune, Part 5, Florida Construction Program Section, December 13, 1936, which is representative of the special section that appeared in the various state newspapers.  The section has articles about the Public Works Administration, the improvements to the state institutions, and advertisements by the contractors involved in the various projects.
    The state institutions and buildings involved in this program were the Florida Farm Colony, Florida Industrial School for Boys, Florida Industrial School for Girls, Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, Florida State College for Women, Florida State Hospital, Florida State Prison, John F. Seagle Building in Gainesville, Tuberculosis Sanatorium at Orlando, and the Old Capitol.
