The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the State Archives of Florida's holdings of over 40,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 2,700 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections.

Biographical/Historical Note:     The Supreme Court replaced the Territorial Court of Appeals in 1845 (Article V, 1838 Constitution; Article V, 1885 and 1968 Constitutions).  The Supreme Court consists of seven justices, with at least one from each appellate district.  The Court hears appeals in all death penalty cases and reviews the decisions of the District Courts of Appeal and trial courts.
