The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     The Florida Economic Growth and International Development Commission was created in 1988 (Ch. 88-201, Laws) to develop a strategy for the acceleration of economic growth and international development in Florida.  Its study focused on the areas of domestic and international infrastructure; economic development; education and human resources; international trade; and tourism.  The Commission sent a report of its recommendations to the Governor and Legislature and was abolished on June 30, 1990.
Summary:     The series contains the records of the Florida Economic Growth and International Development Commission from 1989 to 1990.  The records include minutes, meeting transcripts, correspondence, and a draft copy of the Commission's report.  Also included are audio cassette recordings of the March 29, 1989 meeting.
