Biographical/Historical:     Mary Lamar Davis (1893-1972) was a Florida State College for Women alumni and Tallahassee resident. Her article, "Tallahassee Through Territorial Days," was published in the Tallahassee Historical Society's historical journal, Apalachee, in 1944.
Summary:     This collection includes records related to Mary Lamar Davis' research while writing her paper, "Tallahassee Through Territorial Days," including handwritten notes and copies of primary sources. Also included are letters related to some of her other research interests, such as Confederate soldiers, Tallahassee history and poetry.
