	Biographical/Historical:	The Division of Florida Land Sales and Condominiums was created in 1975 (Ch. 75-62, Laws) as part of the Department of Business Regulation to assume the duties of its predecessors, the Division of Florida Land Sales (Ch. 70-107, Laws) and the Division of Installment Land Sales (69-106, Laws). Prior to 1969, the activities of the division were handled by the Florida Land Sales Board (Ch. 67-229, Laws) and the Florida Installment Land Sales Board (Ch. 63-129, Laws). The Florida Installment Land Sales Act (Ch. 63-129, Laws) authorized the creation of the board to assume some duties of the Florida Real Estate Commission (1927, Ch. 12223, Laws). Its duties were to register installment land subdividers and salesmen; to approve promotional material; to determine full disclosure of facts and investigate land fraud; and to revoke or suspend registration of subdividers and salesmen for violation of law.
