The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     Alex Sink was the second Chief Financial Officer of Florida, serving from January 2007-January 2011 under Governor Charlie Crist. She ran for governor after serving as CFO, losing to Rick Scott in the 2010 gubernatorial election. Sink has served on the Commission on Government Accountability to the People and Commission on Education for Governor Chiles, as vice-chair of Florida TaxWatch, and as Chairman of the Board for United Way of Hillsborough County. Before entering politics Sink worked as President of Florida Operations for NationsBank.
Summary:     This series contains the incoming and outgoing correspondence files of Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink documenting the official duties and activities of that office.
