The Commission consists of nine members who are responsible for investigating and issuing public reports regarding complaints, and providing legally binding advisory opinions interpreting Florida's ethics laws.

Summary:     This series consists of the Office of the Governor's copies of documents used by Florida's Commission on Ethics as it investigated complaints against various public officials. The files usually consist of the complaint, an investigative report, and any records of legal proceedings and supporting documents that the Commission might have gathered during the course of their investigation. The folders are labeled with the name of the respondent (person against whom the complaint was filed) and a number that indicates the year and order in which the complaint was filed.
