Summary:     This series contains certifications of action taken by the Florida Senate, signed by the President of the Senate and the Secretary of the Senate, regarding the suspension or return to duty of various state officers.  Also included are a few Executive Orders which deal directly with a specific officer's case.

These actions are in accordance with the procedures laid out in Florida Statute 112.45, which deals with the suspension of state officers and their trials by the Senate or Senate Rules Committee, whichever the rules of the Senate for that session establish as the deciding body.

The Secretary of the Senate is required by this statute to deliver to the Secretary of State these certificates that order the removal of the tried officers if adjudged guilty by the Senate or the return to office if found not guilty.  The Department of State then issues the order putting it into effect.
