The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     In 2009 the Roads, Bridges & Ports Policy Committee became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws.  This committee deals with some of the functions of the former House Transportation committee.  The committee reviews legislation dealing with transportation issues, motor vehicles, driver licenses, license plates, highway safety, road designations, and traffic offenses.
Summary:     This series contains bill files, meeting files, and subject files that cover various transportation issues in florida.  The records may contain copies of bills, committee substitutes, staff analyses, and meeting files.
