The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This collection consists of black-and-white photographs and glass plate negatives depicting scenes in Volusia County, Florida. It includes images of homes, hotels, and businesses; street scenes in towns and neighborhoods; nature scenes of rivers and trees; and people. There are several photographs of the Stetson University campus as well as groups of students and faculty, and of the Hawks Park neighborhood homes and riverbank. Other locations documented include Daytona Beach, DeLand, Orange City, Blue Springs, and Glenwood. In addition, the collection contains one mounted print of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Phillips, a Black couple, on their porch in Glenwood.

    The collection also includes images of other areas in Central Florida, such as Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven and Bok Tower in Lake Wales (Polk County), swimmers at Juniper Springs (Marion County), and groups of Sorrento School students and athletes (Lake County).
