Biographical/Historical:     Louis Parisot was born in France and studied pharmacy and analytical chemistry at Sarbonne University in Paris. He was a student and assistant of Louis Pasteur, and graduated in the same class as Pierre Curie, husband of pioneer researcher Marie Curie. Louis Parisot and his wife came to the United States in 1910 and during the First World War he served as inspector-chemist. He later worked in various assignments as an analytical chemist, including in Bartow, Florida, where he died in 1945.

Summary:     This collection consists of three images of Bartow's city chemist Louis Parisot. The images depict Parisot looking through a microsope and sitting in a chair.
