Summary: ***DEACCESSIONED***    This series consists of news releases from the United States Assistant Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs) that list Vietnam War casualties from the beginning to the end of the conflict. The releases were issued daily or every few days and listed casualties by branch of service and then by state. The different casualty categories include died as a result of hostile action, died not as a result of hostile action, missing as a result of hostile action, and missing not as a result of hostile action. The releases also contain the name and addresses of the casualties' next-of-kin.
