Biographical/Historical:     In 1935, husband and wife William F. Layton and Sophie K. Layton opened Layton's Cottage, Trailer, and Fishing Park near the Port of Palm Beach in Riviera Beach, Florida. The park included a boat house and gift shop. The Laytons operated the park until selling it in 1966.

Summary:     This collection consists of digital images of Layton's Park in Riviera Beach, Florida. A photographer who stayed on the property took several publicity photographs, and the family retained a small number of those photographs. Those are represented in this collection, including images of family members, boating, fishing, hurricane damage, and events at Layton's Park.
