The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical: The provenance of these records is somewhat muddled.  While the records were accessioned into the Florida State Archives from the Archives of the Supreme Court of Florida, they appear to have been originally maintained by the governor's office, and it is not clear why the Court was in possession of them.
Summary: The records consist of correspondence, reports, speeches, copies and drafts of proposed revisions to Articles of the Constitution, and related records.  The correspondence is to and from legislative and government officials and constitutional experts without portfolio.  It covers most of the proposed  1968 revision.  Many folders have headings but are empty.
