Biographical/Historical:     Airlines Service, Inc., was a Jacksonville-based limousine service for Florida airlines in the 1940s. The company consisted of 40 buses and limousines that served Jacksonville, Tampa, Pensacola, Key West, and Tallahassee.
Summary:     This collection consists of promotional photographs for Airlines Service, Inc. Images feature the company's limousines and buses around Jacksonville in such places as the airport, next to the St. Johns River, and at Oriental Gardens. The collection also includes a portrait of company president Robert James Reed.
