The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This series contains records generated during the course of planning Bureau-sponsored workshops in various folk arts and folklife topics. Included are workshop proposals, research notes, budget estimates, grant proposals, publicity and registration materials, and participant feedback. Also included are photographs, slides, two proof sheets, and negatives for some of the workshops. These materials document workshops in such folk arts as traditional fiddle music and dance, leather whip braiding, white oak basketry, Seminole basketry and patchwork, and duck decoy carving.

    Also included are records for reoccurring workshops and seminars, such as annual "Summer Folk Culture" seminars  and "Exploring Folklife in Your Community" workshops. There are also materials from reoccuring workshops designed for educators, with instruction on how to incorporate folklife into the classroom. In addition, summary information and final student project videos exist for "Documenting Your Community Traditions: African-American Community Heritage Documentation Workshop" (1995).
