The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     This series contains the photographs, slides, and negatives for folklife fieldwork obtained primarily between 1983 and 1989 (one photograph is dated 1977). The material covers a number of different folk arts and activities including: Seminole chickees building, Seminole games, Peruvian "retablo" making, Puerto Rican wood carving, and the "show"/circus town of Gibsonton, Florida. It also includes fieldwork from the Metro Dade County, Florida area as well as the Traditions Festival held in Miami. There is also some material from the Folk Art in Education and the Folk Art in Libraries projects.
