The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:
Summary:     This series contains correspondence, grant records, conference records, Folklife Archive information and forms, loan forms for material borrowed from the Folklife Archive, Florida Folk Festival policies and general office task records documenting the policies and activities of the Bureau of Florida Folklife Programs and the Florida Folklife Archive.

    Also included in this series are field notes and material from several exhibits. Subjects include Ida Goodson, Lucreaty Clark, saddle making, boat making, Ukrainian egg decorating, Czech egg decorating, the Drop on Down record album project, Seminole projects and a basketry exhibit. Other subjects documented in this series include the apprenticeship program, Arab traditions, cigar rolling, Japanese origami, quilting, Seminole sweetgrass baskets and the slide/tape program. Some files include photographs and slides from the research and exhibits.
