The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     In 2000, the House Committee on Workforce & Technical Skills became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws.  The Committee reviewed legislation on  Florida's economic development efforts, workforce development, workforce education,  emerging  industries, and the economic impact of workforce development.
Summary:     This series contains the audiotaped recordings of the House Committee on Workforce and Technical Skills 2001 to 2002.  The tapes document committee and subcommittee meetings and contain discussion on legislation on workforce training,  workforce education, and economic development.  The tapes are not transcribed or indexed.
