The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     In 1998, the Senate Committee on Children, Families and Seniors again became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provision of Ch. 68-35, Laws. The Committee reviews legislation on child abuse, domestic violence, public welfare, elderly and indigent care, medical care, family services, and social services.
Summary:     This series contains recordings of Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs (2006-2023), Children and Families (1998-2006), and Children, Families, and Seniors (1996-1998) meetings.
