Summary:     This series consists of the publicity photos and files of performers and craftsmen involved with the Florida Folklife Festivals from 1954 until 1992. Most of the photos were taken at the festivals during the performances; however, many were submitted by the performers to the Folklife Festival as a publicity package to offer their services for the Festival. Also contained in the files are newspaper clippings referencing the performers, when and where they were performing in the surrounding area, and mentions of the Florida Folklife Festival.

The performers included storytellers, puppeteers, cloggers, square dancers, musicians, and bands playing any and all types of instruments from autoharps to zithers, including psalterys, dulcimers, guitars, and doors. The performers include Arlo Guthrie, Jimmy Buffet, Pete Seeger, The Kingston Trio, Bob and Evelyn Beers, Doc and Merle Watson, and the Reverend Thurlow Weed.
