Biographical/Historical:     Tommon Tinney was a Tallahassee entrepreneur, born in 1935 to Russell and Edna Lee Tinney. At age twelve, Tinney opened his first business as a messenger in the basement of the Florida Capitol. He served in the Army during the Korean War and then returned to Florida. In 1970, he opened a jewelry store called the Treasure Hut in the Northwood Mall in Tallahassee and was known from his commercials as "Good Ole Tom."

Summary:     This collection contains photographs of aviation activities during World War II.  Photographs include Jim Fair flying several planes including the B-17. Images depict planes on the ground and flying over Cape Canaveral, Florida and Panama, Central America.
