Summary:     The collection contains photographs that depict people, scenes, and events in and around Jacksonville, Florida, in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. There are scenes of encamped Spanish-American War soldiers, including Black soldiers; Jacksonville landmarks; agricultural scenes; a formal group portrait; a parade; the steamboat "City of Jacksonville;" and a shipyard. Ensminger Brothers Photography Studio of Sanford, Florida, took all but one of the photographs in this collection.
