Also of interest are correspondence, memoranda, testimony, and reports relating to the commercialization of space.  Also of note are reports discussing international competition in launch services, especially from China and Europe (Arianespace),  and reports detailing the importance of the United States developing and maintaining a strong commercial expendable launch vehicle (ELV) capability.  Launch projects by several of the major American aerospace companies including Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics are also discussed.  Researchers studying the development of expendable launch vehicles (ELVs), medium launch vehicles (MLVs), and advanced launch systems in the United States during the 1980s and 1990s would find this collection useful.
