The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Summary:     The series consists of county ordinances enacted by the various Boards of County Commissioners since 1969. The series documents county compliance with the state regulation requiring counties to file ordinances with the Secretary of State (Ch. 69-32). The ordinances contain a variety of subjects relating to the regulation of county government and its people. Ordinance for Dade/Miami-Dade County are not included for most years. Effective October 1, 2013, per section 125.66, Florida Statute, the clerk of county commissioners were required to electronically transmit enacted ordinances, amendments and emergency ordinances to the Department of State.
