Biographical/Historical:     George H. Avirett was born about 1867 in Leon County, Florida. In 1890, he married Susan Frances Barco. The Aviretts lived in Tallahassee, Florida, and had several children. George died in May 1934 in Tallahassee, and Susan died in 1955 in Alabama.
Summary:     This single-item collection contains a photograph of George H. and Susan F. Avirett's residence at 709 North Monroe Street in Tallahassee, Florida. The black and white image depicts the exterior of the house with a car parked in front.
