Biographical/Historical:     At the turn of the twentieth century, steamboats were an important mode of transportation for people and supplies through the Central Florida waterways and the South Florida Everglades. One such steamboat was the "Roseada," which operated through the Kissimmee chain of lakes. Steamboats also provided a way for tourists to reach and enjoy these undeveloped areas.
Summary:     This collection consists of an album of photographs depicting a camping trip in the Everglades and showing the fauna of the area. There are also 2 cyanotypes and an albumen print of the steamboat "Roseada."
