Resler took many photos of Palm Beach from the 1890s until his death in 1946.

Summary:     This collection contains 34 black and white photographs of people, places, and activities in West Palm Beach between 1898 and 1941. Most of these photographs are of the Royal Poinciana Hotel from 1898 and images of the additions to the hotel in 1902. This collection also contains photographs of the Kettler Motion Picture Theater, pineapple farms (that later became part of Flamingo Park), and the original Coconut Grove.

There are images of The Styx, a temporary community for Black construction workers. When landowners forcibly removed its residents, they relocated to the northwest area of West Palm Beach, which served as the city's all-Black community from 1894 to 1960.
