The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     In 2000, the House Committee on Judicial Oversight became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. The committee reviewed legislation on civil courts, judicial qualifications, probate law, probate procedures, family laws, uniform laws, tort reform, relief bills, and other civil matters. The committee assumed many of the duties of the Committee on the Judiciary.
Summary:     This series contains recordings of House Committee on Judicial Oversight (2001-2002) meetings. The recordings document legislation on civil courts, judicial qualifications, probate law, probate procedures, family laws, uniform laws, tort reform, relief bills, and other civil matters.
