The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     The Florida Task Force on Private Sector Health Care Responsibility was created by the Legislature in 1989 (Ch. 89-530, Laws).  The Task Force was mandated to make recommendations regarding state health care policy and to submit a plan to implement those recommendations to the Governor and Legislature. The Task Force, which was administered by the Governor's Office, expired in 1991.
Summary:     This series consists of the records of the Florida Task Force on Private Sector Health Care Responsibility, 1989-1991.  The records include minutes, agenda, correspondence, report drafts, research materials, and administrative convenience files.  In addition, the series contains cassette recordings of the Task Force meetings.
