Biographical/Historical:     Deborah Thomas was an independent Tallahassee photographer who sold images for publication to the Florida Flambeau student newspaper at Florida State University.
Summary:     This collection contains negatives taken by local photographer Deborah Thomas for use by the Florida Flambeau student newspaper of Florida State University. The negatives consist of pictures of local interest, mostly concerning Florida State University and state government.

    Thomas took many of the images at university and government events. Subjects of the negatives include commission meetings, rallies, and local and state officials. There are also sports images from Florida State University and Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, the majority being from football and baseball.
