Biographical/Historical:     Anna Hahn was the daughter of James W. and Clara Buskirkin Hahn of Chester, Pennsylvania. Her siblings were James, Mary, Lizzie, and Clara Hahn. Ann Hahn was the assistant principal of Chester High School in Chester, Pennsylvania. She and her sister Clara owned several rental properties in Green Cove Springs and Jacksonville, Florida; and Chester, Pennsylvania.

Summary:     The collection includes photocopies of six diaries written by Anna Hahn. The diaries provide glimpses into Hahn's everyday life and business, including managing her rental properties in Pennsylvania and Florida. Hahn's diaries record her travels between these areas, as well as reactions to such events as the Spanish-American War, the end of World War I, and the first sighting of Halley's Comet.
