The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     Tallahassee photographer C.C. Pike opened Pike's Studio in 1930. It remained in business for more than 50 years: Frank and Edna Pike later managed the studio, then their son Charles J. Pike, and Charles's wife Betty took over when he died in 1962. When it closed in 1984, Pike's Studio was Tallahassee's oldest continuous downtown business.

Summary:     This collection consists of tens of thousands of photographic negatives made at Pike's Studio in Tallahassee, Florida. Included are portraits of individuals from all levels of society, passport photographs, and composite photographs of fraternities and sororities. Most of the portraits are identified by name and date, but some are identified only by date.
