Biographical/Historical:     The Wells Funeral Home was established in Plant City, Florida, in 1896. It was located at the corner of West Mahoney and Wheeler Streets. In 1975, it moved to a new location on Reynolds Street and its name changed to the Wells Colonial Chapel. Since then, its name has changed again to Wells Memorial Funeral Home and, most recently, Wells Memorial and Event Center.
Summary:     The collection contains a microfilm copy of the Wells Funeral Home burial records, transcribed from the original burial records. The records include information on the deceased such as name, race, birthplace, birth and death dates, occupation, and parents' names and birthplaces.
