Biographical/Historical:     J.L. Reed established the J.L. Reed Funeral Home in Tampa, Florida in 1898. He took over the funeral accounts of M. Lovengreen, who was a furniture dealer and undertaker in Tampa in the late 1880s and 1890s. Around 1905, the business name changed to J.L. Reed and Son Funeral Home.
Summary:     The collection contains a microfilm copy of the burial records of the J.L. Reed and Son Funeral Home and the funeral record books of M. Lovengreen and J. L. Reed from 1887 to 1969. Some of the information on the deceased includes name, date and cause of death, place of burial, nationality, birthplace, occupation, and parents' names.
