Biographical/Historical:     Samuel O. Snipes owned and directed Snipes Funeral Home in Tampa, Florida, from 1968 to 1970. In 1971, Ralph Hamilton joined the business and it became the Snipes-Hamilton Funeral Home. In 1984, S.O. Snipes retired and Hamilton continued the business as the Hamilton Funeral Home.
Summary:     The collection contains a microfilm copy of the burial records from the Snipes Funeral Home. The records provide information about the deceased, including name; birth place and date; occupation; place, date and cause of death; parents' names; cemetery or disposition of body; and survivors.
