The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. Biographical/Historical:     Tallahassee celebrated the 150th anniversary of its founding as Florida's capital city in 1974. By resolution the City of Tallahassee declared 1974 as Florida Capital's Sesquicentennial year and designated the Historic Tallahassee Preservation Board as the official organization for coordination of all celebrations. Eleanor Ketchum chaired the organizing committee and R.A. Gray, who had organized Tallahassee's centennial in 1924, was honorary chairman. An official proclamation ceremony took place at the Brokaw-McDougall House on December 10, 1973.

Summary:     The collection contains various souvenirs of the Tallahassee sesquicentennial celebration of 1974. Included are a resolution, a proclamation, a program, a script written by David A. Avant, Jr. and an invitation to the proclamation ceremony for the 150th birthday of Florida's capital celebration.
