State Archives of Florida Online Catalog

The Online Catalog allows searching and browsing of information about the Florida State Archives’ holdings of over 48,000 cubic feet of state and local government records and historical manuscripts. The catalog provides descriptions of over 3,400 collections and lists the contents of containers and folders in many of those collections. 	Summary:	This series contains records concerning the nominations and selections of inductees to the Women's Hall of fame during the administration of Lawton Chiles for this period. The Hall of Fame nominations are solicited by the Florida Commission on the Status of Women and then are sent for final selection by the Governor. The records include nomination forms and backup materials. Also included are two 1996 nominations for recognition of Florida women by outside organizations, i.e. the "Sara Lee Frontrunner Award" and the "Albert Schweitzer Award."
