Biographical/Historical:     Flagler County was created by an act (Ch. 7399, Laws) of the State Legislature on April 28, 1917.  It was formed from portions of St. Johns and Volusia Counties.  The Clerk of the Circuit Court in each county serves as the official custodian of deed, marriage, and probate records.
Summary:     This series contains a microfilm copy of probate records from 1917 to 1939 and from 1944 to 1945 for the County Court of Flagler County, Florida.  The records document the distribution of property after an individual's death.  The documents include wills and orders of the probate court which often detail an individual's estate.  The records are indexed.
