Biographical/Historical:     Daytona Beach, located in Volusia County, Florida on the Atlantic coast, was incorporated as the Town of Daytona Beach in 1905 (Ch. 5494, Laws).  The Town Clerk's Office maintained the voter registration books.  Legislation passed in December, 1925 abolished the City of Daytona, Town of Daytona Beach, and Town of Seabreeze and created one municipal government known as the City of Daytona Beach (1925, Ch. 10466, Ch. 11461, Laws).
Summary:     This collection contains the voter registration book for 1906 to 1925 of the Town of Daytona Beach, Volusia County, Florida.  The book lists the registrant's name, color, occupation, and date of registration.
