	Biographical/Historical:	In 2012, the committee was renamed the House Regulatory Affairs Committee. In 1997, the House Committee on Regulated Services became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. The Committee reviews legislation on lottery, bingo, alcoholic beverage, tobacco, pari-mutuels wagering, and greyhound racing. These functions were handled previously by the House Committee on Regulated Industries (1989-1995); they also had been part of the responsibilities of the House Committee on Regulated Services and Technology (1990-1992), and the House Committee on Regulated Industries and Licensing (1974-1988).
	Summary:	This series contains audiotaped recordings of the House Regulatory Affairs Committee documenting committee meetings and contain discussion on legislation on lottery, bingo, alcoholic beverage, tobacco, parimutuel wagering, and greyhound racing. The series will also contain records of three subcommittees: the Business & Professional Regulation Subcommittee, the Energy & Utilities Subcommittee, and the Insurance & Banking Subcommittee. The recordings are not transcribed, but some recordings may be indexed.
