	Biographical/Historical:	In 1986, the House Committee on Health Care became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. The functions of the Committee were previously handled by the House Committee on Health Care and Insurance and the Committee on Health and Rehabilitative Services. The Committee reviews legislation on health care and medical services in Florida.
	Summary:	This series contains recordings of House Committee on Health Care (1987-1996, 2003-2004), Committee on Health Care Standards and Regulatory Reform (1997-1998), Committee on Health Care General (2005-2006), Committee on Health and Human Services (2011-2022), Select Committee on Affordable Health Care (2003-2004), Select Committee on Medicaid Reform (2005), Select Committee on Health Care Workforce Innovation (2013-2014), Select Committee on Affordable Health Care Access (2016), and Select Committee on Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (2013-2014) meetings. Recordings document legislation on comprehensive health care planning, public health services, health facilities, nursing homes, health maintenance organizations, medical care and practices, medical education, research, and health care costs.
