Biographical/Historical:     In 1982, the House Select Committee on Growth Management (1982-1984) was established under the the provisions of Ch. 69-52, Laws.  The Committee's function was to identify the emerging issues in growth management for local and state governments.
Summary:     This series contains the audiotaped recordings of the House Select Committee on Growth Management from 1982 to 1984.  The document committee and subcommittee meetings and contain discussion on legislation on regional planning; water resources development; coastal zone management; zoning and land use; human services; education; transportation; public utility services; and comprehensive plans by local governments.  The tapes are not indexed or transcribed.
