	Biographical/Historical:	In 1970, the House Committee on Governmental Organization and Efficiency became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. The committee reviewed legislation on local and state government organization and operations. It assumed the functions of the House Committee on State Governmental Organization and Efficiency and the House Committee on Local Government.
	Summary:	This series contains the recordings of House Committee on Governmental Organization and Efficiency (1971-1972) meetings. It also contains plastic recording discs of House Committee on Reorganization and Efficiency and House Committee on State Governmental Organization and Efficiency (1965-1970) meetings whose audio cannot be accessed by Archives equipment. The recordings contain discussion on legislation related to local and state government organization and operations.
