	Biographical/Historical:	In 1972, the House Committee on Environmental Protection became a standing committee with a permanent staff under the provisions of Ch. 68-35, Laws. This committee's functions were previously handled by the House Committee on Environmental Pollution Control. The Committee reviewed legislation on environmental regulations, environmental protection, pollution control, and waste management.
	Summary:	This series contains recordings of House Committee on Environmental Protection (1972-1974, 1997-2000, 2007-2008) and Committee on Environmental Control (1970-1972) meetings. The recordings contain discussion on legislation pertaining to environmental protection issues; air, water, and noise pollution; sewage disposal; waste management; beach erosion; and water resources development.
